BioI'm a fanboy, and though I flirt with the more obsessive expressions of fandom, I hope never to capitulate. There are just too many things to be interested in for me to be more than momentarily obsessed with any one thing.
On Friending...
My friending habits vary. Sometimes I lurk, sometimes I friend, sometimes I join - Ocassionally all of the above. Pretty much depends on the state of my friendslist and filters at the time. I appreciate shared interests, wit, and people who have different lives to mine.
I may friend you and then not comment for months, I may comment and not friend you. If you friend me, I'll visit your userinfo page and friend you back (unless I find something I can't/don't want to deal with in the userinfo or posts).
I think that covers it - if it grossly offends your sense of the lj community, feel free to start a debate in my comment sections.
